When the weather starts to get cold, it takes a LOT for me to get up out of my warm bed, throw on some clothes and go to the gym. I'd rather be cozy in my comforter! It's hard staying active when all you want to do is enjoy the holidays and eat comfort foods, am I right? The good news is, I've started working out in my basement this year, so I'm hoping to keep up with that when the weather really gets unbearable. How do you manage? What kinds of activities do you do in the winter to keep yourself moving?

I find that cardio kickboxing is the best way to keep in shape and stay fit. Its really fun, you meet lots of like minded people that keep you motivated and it absolutely kills your stress :). The first 2 weeks are VERY hard, but once you make it through you will be tight and toned in or around 8 weeks (10 - 20lbs). Your metabolism will speed up greatly and you can eat all the comfort foods you want lol!
